Exterior
Keeping it simple, greys and whites, maybe bringing in some warmth with neutrals. The skillion roof and front window hoods add a bit of visual interest. The deal maker is my firetruck red letterbox pillar and front door! Living near the beach, we think that using lightweight materials such as weatherboard cladding will lend itself to the area much better than bricks and render.
Interior
The aim of the game for us is to have an open, airy, family friendly space. We have specifically chosen finishes that are easy to take care of, look good, and will last. Our flooring will be primarily strand woven bamboo. It is cost effective, looks great, and wears well.

Kitchen
Our luxury item is a butlers pantry, to hide all the copious amounts of kitchen equipment we (well, Rachel...) have collected over the years, and to have a tucked away space so that we can keep the benches free of coffee machines, toasters, kettles, etc. Our main kitchen will be open and clean, with simple finishes. The is the one space we may bring in a pop of colour - leaning towards turquoise.

Bathrooms
We plan on keeping the bathrooms quite simple. Predominately white tiling, maybe a darker grey floor tile. We have a good size walk in shower in the master suite, maybe something funky will happen in there.

Fun Spaces
We are lucky enough for the kids to have a separate rumpus/play room. We plan on having a little bit of fun with that room! We also want the kids to be able to put their own stamp on their rooms - could be dangerous, but they have some great ideas so far!
